From downtown, take Butler Street past the really-hard-to-miss Allegheny Cemetery on the right. The Slaughterhouse is located in the next block, across the street from Allegheny Valley Bank.

From Shadyside, Squirrel Hill and the East End, take 40th Street to Butler Street. Turn right onto Butler.

From points north of the city, cross the 40th Street Bridge to Butler. Turn left onto Butler Street.

From south of the city, go through the Liberty Tunnels onto the Liberty Bridge. Follow the signs to Mellon Arena. Take the Bigelow Boulevard Exit. Stay on Bigelow until you see the exit for Liberty Avenue/Bloomfield. This will put you onto the Bloomfield Bridge. Go straight through the light at the end of the bridge. At Butler Street, turn right.

Parking

Parking is available along Butler Street, and in a nearby public lot, located opposite the gallery.

Public Transportation

The Port Authority services Lawrenceville and Butler Street with their 91A, 91S, and 93A buses.
