We are Anne Davis, Kris Mamula, Lee Chottiner, and Jonathan and Maggie Potts. Our aim is simple: promote good writing and have a little fun doing it. Collectively, we believe good writing is best when read aloud. We’re also pretty sure most anything is possible.

Choice Cuts is a new Pittsburgh reading series featuring the works of unpublished local poets and writers. Published authors will also make regular appearances.

Choice Cuts will be held the third Friday of every month at the historic Slaughterhouse Gallery, 5136 Butler Street, Lawrenceville. The suggested donation is $3. Coffee and snacks will be available.
